Who this notice covers

This California Privacy Notice supplements our main Privacy Policy and applies only to California residents. It explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA").

This notice does not apply to information we collect about job applicants, employees, or independent contractors in a workforce context. If applicable, those disclosures are provided separately.

Notice at Collection

We collect the categories of personal information listed below from or about you for the business and commercial purposes described. Unless indicated otherwise, we collect these categories directly from you (e.g., checkout, account, customer support), automatically (e.g., cookies and similar technologies), and from service providers (e.g., payment, analytics, advertising, and shipping partners).

We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes that would require offering a "Right to Limit" under the CCPA. We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Use & Disclosure of Personal Information

We use personal information to provide and improve our services; process orders and payments; provide customer support; detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents or fraudulent activity; debug and repair errors; maintain internal quality; personalize your experience; and for short‑term transient use such as non‑personalized advertising.

We disclose personal information to service providers and contractors under written agreements that restrict their use of the data to specified services for us, including: payment processing, hosting, cloud storage, email & SMS providers, analytics, advertising technology, order fulfillment & shipping, customer support tools, and professional advisors (legal, tax, accounting).

Sale/Sharing for Cross‑Context Behavioral Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. We may "share" (as that term is defined by the CCPA) certain identifiers, internet activity, commercial information, approximate location, and inferences with advertising and analytics partners to show you more relevant ads across different websites or apps. You can opt out at any time:

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser where required. If we detect a valid GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of sale/sharing for the browser sending the signal.

Your CCPA Rights

  • Right to Know/Access: Request the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collected about you; the categories of sources; purposes for collection; categories of third parties; and the categories of personal information we sold or disclosed.
  • Right to Delete: Ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information about you.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Non‑Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights

We will verify your request by matching identifying information you provide with information we maintain. If we cannot verify your identity to a reasonable degree of certainty, we may request additional information or deny the request with an explanation.

Authorized Agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.

We aim to respond within 45 days of receiving your verifiable request. If we need more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will let you know and explain why.

Notice of Financial Incentives

If we offer a price or service difference related to your participation in a program (for example, an email signup discount), we will provide program terms at the point of signup. Participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time.

The value of any incentive is reasonably related to the value of your data, which we estimate based on expenses related to the offer (e.g., discounts), increased engagement, and anticipated revenues.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and auditing obligations, to resolve disputes, and to maintain security. The table under Notice at Collection lists typical retention periods by category.
